Labradorite Crystal Tumble

Labradorite is the stone of magic hidden in the ordinary, long known as the Magician’s Stone: a plain grey stone until the light catches it and a flash of peacock blue, gold, or green slides across its surface, as though a door has briefly opened. People are drawn to it for protection, intuition, and a sense of their own quiet magic, and that flash is much of the appeal: a reminder that there is more beneath the surface of things than first appears. The effect, called labradorescence, comes from light bouncing between fine internal layers within the stone, and it gives the mineral its name, after the Labrador coast of Canada where it was first noted. A feldspar, it is reasonably hard but cleaves in flat planes.

Modern practice links labradorite to both the Third Eye and Crown Chakras of the Hindu and Vedic chakra system, the centres of intuition and spiritual connection.
