ETERNAL SPIRIT

Our story

A sanctuary

About Eternal Spirit

For almost three decades, this beloved Adelaide shop has quietly stood as a place people seem to find precisely when they need it — though not always for the reasons they first imagine.

Eternal Spirit is more than a collection of crystals, books, incense, and spiritual tools. It is a space between the world outside and the world within. A place where people pause long enough for reflection. Where intuition has room to emerge. Where questions are welcomed, and answers lie deep within.

People often walk through the door and instinctively take a deep breath. The pace softens. The outside world gently recedes. Time seems to move a little differently here.

Some arrive with a clear intention. Others simply feel drawn to step inside. Some are discovering this world for the first time. Others have been returning for years. Whatever brings you here, you'll be met with warmth, care, and the freedom to explore at your own pace.

Eternal Spirit has always been a sanctuary of sorts — a place where ancient traditions, natural beauty, and everyday life quietly meet. Where the shelves hold more than objects, and where a simple visit has a way of becoming something unexpectedly meaningful.

Like any place with a story, Eternal Spirit is shaped by the people who become part of it. The team who care for this space and the community who continue to support it have helped create something far greater than four walls and shelves — a place of connection, discovery, and belonging.

Our Story

Eternal Spirit was founded in 1997 and has been lovingly cared for by a small number of dedicated custodians over the years, each contributing to the warmth, integrity, and sense of community the shop is known for today. In February 2024, the shop entered its next chapter under the care of Yasmine, who continues to shape Eternal Spirit with deep respect for everything that has come before, while guiding it forward with her own vision and heart.

Nearly three decades on, the spirit of this place remains unchanged: a belief that this work matters, and that every person who walks through the door deserves to be met with warmth, honesty, and care.

A Note from Yasmine

My path to Eternal Spirit arrived through a season of recalibration and a series of quiet, unmistakable signs that eventually led me here. Before becoming the custodian of this space, I spent more than two decades working in the creative industries, with experiences that took me from Australia to Los Angeles and London.

Yet despite the distance travelled, some of the things that mattered most remained unchanged: a deep appreciation for symbolism, nature, creativity, and the quieter dimensions of life.

I am a third-generation Australian with ancient Phoenician roots from the eastern Mediterranean, and I grew up on a farm where the rhythms of nature shaped much of how I see the world today. Those influences continue to inform the way I approach both life and business — with curiosity, respect, and a belief that there is value in slowing down long enough to truly listen.

My intention for Eternal Spirit is simple: to preserve the warmth and integrity that have made it so loved for nearly three decades, while ensuring it continues to evolve, inspire, and welcome future generations.

What we offer here — the crystals, the tools, the quiet space to think — are companions to your own path, not shortcuts along it. The deeper work is always yours. Our role is simply to hold the space, share what we know, and trust you to take what resonates. Whether you're visiting for the first time or have been part of the Eternal Spirit story for many years, I'm grateful you're here.
